About Me
I am grateful that both my parents encouraged me to respect all religions, and allowed me to follow my own inclinations, find my own way spiritually. They never forced a particular religious dogma. As a child, inspired by my father's younger sister, a full-habit-wearing, Roman Catholic nun, I was sure my being a nun was my life path! In later years however, my mother, born and raised in Japan, took me to meditation sessions in the Nicheren Shoshu Buddhist tradition. This gave me the discipline of meditating regularly that I enjoy today.
And as a teenager, I attended lively Christian churches with friends,
the beginning of many wonderful singing experiences in my life.
As an adult, I have studied an ancient spiritual path of India, Vedanta. This holistic, energy-based belief system greatly informs my perceptions and practices today. At the Berkeley Psychic Institute in Sacramento, California, I
studied meditation and energy healing, which are great complements to
my Vedantic practices. The increasing psychic phenomena in my
personal life, including clairvoyance, precognition and mediumship,
drew me to start attending the Central Spiritualist Church
in Sacramento. There we give and receive psychic and mediumship
impressions during services, and participate in psychic development
workshops.
In
addition to providing readings and metaphysical workshops and classes,
I am also inspired to create spiritually-focused music with like-minded
musicians, and to create thought-provoking and healing visual art. After studying voice in college and later in workshops with vocal coaches such as Jaqueline Victorino, I performed as
lead or co-lead vocalist in three Sacramento-based bands. I still work
occasionally as a studio vocalist. Another area of pursuit in my life
has been visual art. After graduating from the University of
California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in painting and drawing, I exhibited in group shows in the Sacramento
region, and I have worked for the City of Sacramento's Metropolitan
Arts Commission (SMAC), assisting in implementing the city's public art
program. I consider art and music part of my spirituality as well.
I consider serving as an intuitive reader a divine privilege, and I maintain compassion and integrity with my reading work. Each soul has its unique gift for the world, so I focus my readings on pointing clients toward their own, beautiful Higher Selves, and it is my hope to assist people with connecting to their inner peace and unique spiritual power.
About Readings
Before a reading session, I take time to meditate and open up to receiving insight from Spirit. Then I "look" clairvoyantly at your chakra energy centers, as well as your overall aura. The chakras organize the energy of the aura into different "compartments," categories, themes, etc. Even the energies of people in your life are evident within your aura and chakras....so be lovingly selective about whose energy you let into your "energy field"!

reflects an individual's aura (as the yellow light around the figure
-auras, however, can be any color, and can extend quite a bit farther
from the body). The seven round shapes in the center of the figure
represent the seven major energy centers called chakras in Sanskrit.
The aura and its
energy centers around our bodies radiate holographic images reflecting
every aspect of our lives, from every period of our lives, including
our past lives. As your circumstances constantly
change, each experience is imprinted into your energy centers. In short, "a picture speaks a thousand words" really applies here! When I look at your energy, it's like I'm looking into your personal photo album.
We all have these holograms around us, as do every other animate, and even inanimate object in Creation. The
holograms register to "energetically sensitive" people like me in the
form of symbols, words, sounds, etc. We engage our intuitive faculties
to tell you what we see in your energy....and there you have your reading.
As I look at your energy, I may receive information through any of a variety of intuitive faculties:
- clairvoyance through images and visions
- clairaudience through sounds, mantric words and phrases
- clairsentience through physical sensations and emotions
- clairolfaction (smells) or clairgustance (tastes)
- mediumship through messages from spirit beings
- past life information, who you were, what you did, etc.
Whatever the method of message transmission, your information comes
together to create a reading that may bring clarity and new
perspectives about your life's purpose, and the issues surrounding your
fulfilling that purpose.
The Unexpected
If you decide to let me read for you, please keep an open mind about your reading. For example:
- You
may want me to give you Spirit confirmation for something you want to
do, but my reading may reveal that the suggestion from Spirit is not to do it... or vice versa, you may not feel inclined to do something, but Spirit is urging you to do it
- As
every client is different, so is every reading. Even different
readings for the same client may vary greatly. Don't expect the same
thing every time
- There may be a loved one you really want to "come through" in one reading, who
doesn't. Though I have mediumship ability, I can't control that.
Perhaps in the same reading an unexpected message from some other
spirit guide directs you toward the perfect solution to a pressing
issue in your life. Then in another reading on another day, your loved
may come through. Stay open minded and flexible.
There are many, many variables to experience in the course of receiving a reading. Rest
assured that these and other unexpected outcomes are but normal parts
of receiving a psychic reading, from any reader you consult.
Compensation and Other Considerations
Know that I do not try to "convert" or "convince" anyone into believing anything about the spirit realm, or about any aspect of spirituality
in general, nor do I compare myself or my readings to other readers and
their readings. If being "convinced" or comparing is on your agenda,
consider contacting another reader. Please do not waste our time together.
And if, after receiving my reading, you find what I've read doesn't resonate with you, keep two things in mind:
1. Remember
the tale of the emperor who didn't want to be told he had no clothes
on, and he proceeded to parade through town naked, even finding a
flatterer to tell him how great his clothes looked? I'm not that kind of reader, not a flatterer; I will tell you exactly what I see. The tale of the Emperor and His New Clothes reminds us that the truth often hurts the ego, and it's
natural for the ego to jump in and defend itself, hear what it wants to
hear, when it perceives that its existence may be threatened; that's
what it's there for.
But
with my reading or any reading you receive, try to set the ego and its
fragility aside, step back, and let your Inner Soul learn something
new, from a new perspective...in short, let your soul grow despite any
"growing pains" truth brings. It's been my
experience that those ego-crushing readings I received from other
readers were the most memorable, and therefore the most valuable, in
giving me insight to grow. So, let it sink in. Give it time.
2. If,
with time, you believe a reading I provided you remains of little or no
value to your soul's path, I recommend you search for a reader whose
readings you find satisfactory. Just as with
any other consultancy service, whether that of a dentist, a doctor, a
lawyer, etc., where you get a second or third opinion when you're not
satisfied with the first one, you could do the same with the many
readers available to provide you additional insight. But
know that every reading I perform is delivered with the utmost respect
and love for each client's soul, and its path. Therefore, I stand by my readings. I'm not 100% accurate. I'm good at what I do, or I wouldn't do it. So again, as with any other consultancy service, if I have spent time
and effort working to provide you your reading, then I am compensated
accordingly.
